Charles comes from a production background, having started his filmmaking career on the sets of films such as The End of the Tour, The Expendables, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

For years, his own production company functioned as the in-house resource for MRY before he took to leap to agency producing.

Now he freelances at companies such as VCCP while producing features with his creative partner and wife Jess Jacklin, the latest for HBO.

He has a keen eye for innovation, embracing new technology such as blockchain and AI, to create new storytelling opportunities and production approaches.
